چکیده

A reliable and effective hybrid beamforming design for dual functioning multi-input multi-output (MIMO) radar is a challenging research problem because of the concerns related to limited user capacity, interference, lack performance trade-off. Due shortage available spectrum, frequency spectrum sharing has become vital in emerging 5G communication systems. This will reduce congestion, therefore receiving significant attention. The existing methods radio (RF) chains but improving capacity still major concern. Future radar-communication designs are having challenges enhancing with minimum RF chains, interference mitigation, hardware cost reduction. work proposes novel approach mechanism dual-functioning MIMO radar. uses dimension-reduced baseband piecewise successive approximation integrated digital precoder. At analog precoder, iterative applied perform beamforming. lens antenna array integration improves reduces power requirement, expenses. simulation results showed improved performances compared state-of-the-art terms bit error rate, spectral efficiency, energy response time.

Precoding and Beamforming for Multi-Input Multi-Output Downlink Channels

This dissertation presents precoding and beamforming schemes for multi-user wireless downlink channels when multiple antennas are employed at both the transmitter and the receivers. In the first part of the thesis, we will discuss transmitter processing without channel information which is applicable in both flat and frequency selective (when orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) is...

A Multi Input Multi Output Converter for Hybrid Energy Systems

Multi input and multi output converters are becoming popular because they are cost effective and compact. This paper proposes a multi input multi output converter for Grid-Solar power integration for uninterrupted power supply. The proposed converter uses four winding transformer with two primary windings and two secondary windings. The grid supply is connected to the first winding of transform...

Successive interference cancellation aided sphere decoder for multi-input multi-output systems

In this paper, sphere decoding algorithms are proposed for both hard detection and soft processing in multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. Both algorithms are based on the complex tree structure to reduce the complexity of searching the unique minimum Euclidean distance and multiple Euclidean distances, and obtain the corresponding transmit symbol vectors. The novel complex hard sphere deco...

Multi Input Multi Output Blind SignalSeparation using Second Order Statistics

In the present paper a Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) source separation method for dynamic channels is proposed. The algorithm is based on second order statistics of the observed signals. A new separation structure, based on cofactors, is proposed with a parametrization such as to reduce the number of estimated parameters to a minimum. Simulations with the algorithm are presented.
